Project description:
Our client is a leading solar installation company in Oklahoma, United States, offering a wide range of services for both residential and commercial clients such as Solar panel installation, Standby Power Solutions, EV Charger Installation, and roofing solutions.
They were already running google ads for solar projects with an overall monthly budget of $15k to $20k with initial target cost per lead of around $90.
Objective:
Increase overall leads through google ads with an overall monthly budget of $15k to $20k and target cost per lead of less than $80.
Strategy:
We started by creating a short term as well a long term google digital marketing strategy for the account. This included targeting high intent keywords to new and existing home owners and people looking for solar or green energy solutions for residential or commercial use.
We optimised the marketing funnel focussed on important touchpoints across the customer journey such as targeting electric vehicle owners looking for charging stations to install their own charging station.
Conversions were set up correctly through Google Analytics 4 account which included phone calls and "Request A Quote" form submisson to measure the actual number of leads.
Existing google ads campaigns were audited and optimised. New manual CPC campaigns were created to target high intent keywords.
Performance Max (Pmax) campaigns were created for remarketing.
Demand generation campaign budget was lowered and diverted to Pmax campaigns.
Highly effective promotional campaigns such as highlighting ITC Federal credit and 100% Financing options were implemented across the funnel.
Key highlights after 30 days of google ads management :
Conversion Surge: We saw a remarkable 81.82% increase in average daily conversions, indicating a substantial rise in successful actions directly attributed to our ad campaigns.
Generate Leads Overview Cost Efficiency: The average cost per conversion has decreased by 40.0%, showcasing our ability to drive valuable actions at a significantly lower cost. This means we're getting more for your investment.
Ad Effectiveness: The google ads conversion rate more than doubled (103.36% increase), proving that our ads were now far more effective at turning clicks into desired outcomes.
ROAS Revolution: Our strategies yielded a 94.8% improvement in return on ad spend (ROAS). For every dollar invested, Okie Solar is now generating significantly more revenue.
Strategic Budget Allocation: A slight increase in daily spending (5.49%) had been strategically implemented to capitalize on emerging opportunities and further amplify our results.
Advanced data analytics from GA4 was used to active manage and optimise campaign performance. This included reviewing the landing pages visitor count, location based targeting optimisaton and monitoring key events for similar parameters.
Highly responsive and relevant google ads were generated manually as well as through 3rd party AI tools, and thorough A/B testing was done to identify the most performing ads to further optimise the google ads campaigns.
Conclusion:
